Hey folks, mark your calendars for this one!
Got private documents? Shred them! Now you can do so on Saturday, April 20th, from 9 a.m. to noon. Your Richland Neighborhood Association will provide a shred truck in the parking lot at Richland
Elementary close to the recycling bins.
Households will be given preference for shredding papers. You can leave the staples and even paper clips on your documents if you want. Any donations you can make to help offset the cost will be greatly appreciated.
FYI, this recycling event DOES NOT include things like radios, metallic or plastic objects, etc.
Sometime in April Richland College will hold such an event where those type of recyclable items can be discarded. You can find info in the Richardson city newsletter or on their website!
The COR’s shredding event scheduled for Saturday, April 13th, was canceled due to inclement weather. However, that does not mean that this one will include the items they had permitted to recycle: i..e. radios, electronics, plastics, etc.
This is still for paper only, but including staples and paper clips!
