Website Tutorial for Registration & Renewal

Over the past year or two there has been some confusion and some frustration on the process of either registering OR renewing memberships on the website. Let us first apologize for the 2022 issues that were beyond our control. Our hosting provider had wrongly, and repeatedly, implemented a new server-side spam filter on their servers that incorrectly blocked our domain as spam – i.e. richlandhoa.com. In turn, this would block email notifications from going out for password resets, email verification of form submissions and renewals to the treasurer. It was immensely frustrating and right smack dab in the midst of the 2022 membership drive.

However, this has been rectified but still there are some issues and nuances that are not always clear so we have set out on creating a tutorial with screen shots to help in this matter.

Admittedly, there are a few channels to which to traverse to renew one’s membership, This is one thing that surprises many, including admins, that such avenues exist. We’ll go through each of these paths.

When clicking RNA Membership the user will be directed to a page that looks like this.

You then will be presented with the option to log on. If you can’t remember your password you can click on the circled link to retrieve and reset it. If you have not registered you may also do so from this screen.

After which you’ll see a page asking you, or allowing you, to join or renew. Clicking the above image will then take you to a membership form, as seen below. submit your form data

The top of the form will look like this. Various fields are required and the user will be prompted to complete those fields. Secondarily or scrolling down and completing the form the user will see the following:
